A high-speed bus dedicated to a single-board computer (such as Raspberry Pi) for user interface and plug-in 6 high-capacity Trinamic 5160 stepper drives, up to 45A RMS during operation, peak 6.3A, including firmware control of all functions 256 microstepping, StallGuard2 and StealthChop2
l
CAN-FD bus supporting next-generation Duet3D expansion boards, smart tools and custom plug-ins. The initial goal was to support up to 8 3-channel expansion boards (another 24 stepping channels)
l
Variable current capacity PWM output supports a high current heating bed, 3 extruders and 6 fans
l
IO ports for end stops, probes, filament monitors and other sensors
l
4 thermistors/PT1000 inputs, and support 4 PT100/thermocouple inputs through the optional daughter board
l
Connect to the onboard web interface through a PC, tablet or smartphone on the same network
l
Set up the printer and update the firmware via the web interface
l
Support all common 3D printer geometries
l
Supports a variety of Z probes, including IR Z probes for DC42 and Duet3D Smart Effector for incremental printers
