Description
This is a barely-used pair of Oticon Siya 2 Mini (Minirite) behind-the-ear hearing aids. When I lost a hearing aid and needed a replacement, I bid on some from an audiologist who sells these pairs of very slightly used hearing aids at a huge discount, at eBay auctions such as https://www.ebay.com/itm/233987183466.I
ended up buying an extra pair that I don't need, and am re-selling it in hopes of recouping my loss. I did not use the hearing aids and hardly touched them, other than opening the box and looking through the contents.
You will get everything in the box: both hearing aids, a box of the plastic "tips" that recent behind-the-ear hearing aids use instead of the now-obsolete earmolds; and a supply of batteries.
Hearing aids typically cost thousands if purchased brand new through an audiologist; my last such pair cost around 00. So this is a huge bargain unless your insurance covers hearing aids. (Mine never has, and I'm told that insurance usually doesn't.)
To get these hearing aids programmed for your particular hearing loss, you could take them to a local audiologist, but they might charge a considerable fee. Mine wanted 0 or thereabouts to program hearing aids bought elsewhere. But the seller I bought these from will do it for 0 and a copy of your last hearing test (necessary for the programming). I didn't want to spend 0, so I just mailed the package back to the audiologist--his office is in Bakersfield, California--and he programmed them and sent them back. I'll share his eBay ID (it's the same as in the above auction) if you want to contact him for service. (
I do not have a business association with him; I am offering this information for your convenience.) If not, you still need them programmed, and there are other eBay sellers who sell programming service.
The starting price of 0 is based on what I paid for the other pair in this model from the same seller.
