Information
As they age, garage door springs begin to detension causing strain on the springs themselves, the cables and the hinges on the door. If your hinge has snapped, Wholesale Garage highly recommends you get your door serviced as well as this genuine replacement part for your door to prevent future damage.
Finding Your Hinge
Each hinge is stamped with a single number ranging from 1-4. There is also a middle hinge that has no number stamped on it, referred to as an 'Intermediate' hinge. Simply purchase the hinge that you require and we'll send it off!

In the unlikely event that a return is requested, returns must include all original items undamaged (including batteries, clips or instruction manuals).
The buyer is responsible for postage costs incurred in returning products unless Wholesale Garage has posted the wrong item. A return authorization must be obtained before posting the item. We will not refund products that are returned damaged or missing items.

GENUINE (OEM) REMOTE CONTROLS
All original remote controls come with a 1 year warranty, covering the remote control from manufacturer fault. Damage incurred from water, dropping, sun damage, rusting or other external factors that the manufacturer is not responsible for are not covered.
AUTO OPENERS "AO" REMOTE CONTROLS
Auto Openers AO remote controls come with a 2 year warranty, covering the remote control from manufacturer fault. Damage incurred from water, dropping, sun damage, rusting or other external factors that the manufacturer is not responsible for are not covered.
ATA / B&D GARAGE DOOR & GATE OPENERS - 2020 March Warranty Update
With the increase in standard warranty lengths from ATA and B&D has come a more complex warranty process. In the event of a warranty claim, in order for your warranty to be accepted by the manufacturer you are now required to have:
Your motor installed by a B&D technician, serviced 12 months after installation, and every 24 months
thereafter with receipts required for each point.
In the event of motor failure, you would need to engage the installer (at your cost) to diagnose the unit with a PG3 programmer.
Once verified as a warrantable claim by the installer, we fill out warranty claim paperwork to send to ATA/B&D. If they accept the claim (timeframe unknown) they will send a new unit to us, to send to you. The manufacturer does not want to send a replacement unit direct to the customer (you).
This is an entirely new process, so we are unsure on how long this would go on for. As the old process could take up to 3 months, Wholesale Garage would advise to expect up to this time period.
MERLIN / GRIFCO GARAGE DOOR OPENERS
Merlin (and their commercial opener brand Grifco) no longer offers full term warranties on motors sold online and instead only offer a 1 Year Online Warranty. Please note that this is not an additional term on top of their standard 5 & 7 Year Warranties and is simply a 1 Year Warranty from the date of purchase.
In the event of a warranty claim, you will need to return the motor to us (Wholesale Garage) at your cost within 1 year (12 months) of purchasing the unit. We will then contact Merlin to organize a repair or replacement. Once the solution has been shiped to us, we will then return the unit to you at our cost.
AUTO OPENERS GARAGE DOOR OPENER
S - REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Auto Openers is the only manufacturer in Australia to offer a Replacement Warranty. If your opener developes a fault we will attempt to fix it over the phone. If we cannot fix it over the phone, we will send you a brand new motor. When you receive the motor, simply swap over the powerhead, put the broken powerhead in the box and send it back to us. When we receive the motor, we liase with Auto Openers to assess and repair the motor without making you wait.
This is several months faster than other manufacturers and one of the reasons why we always recommend Auto Openers motors over every other brand.
