Year of mfg.1990, This machine came out of a hydraulic shop. As you can see, from the two steady rest, and a 16" 3 Jaw, Cylinder work is easy on the machine, low RPM's, Light cuts, and a lot of steady rest and center work, away from the chuck. Keeps the Way's close to the chuck NICE!!! No gap bed, which I prefer, and original paint, (no shotty repaint) Supplied is the original binder with complete electrical schematics, parts assembly drawings and numbers, maintenance skedule ECT. Look at the original sales sell sheet for specs. Comes with a 16" 3 Jaw Chuck, hard and soft jaws,16" 4 Jaw, A 16" Faceplate not pictured, (2) D1-8 adaptors, (2) Roller type steady rest's, Taper turning attachment, Dorian wedge type tool post, (10) pictured tool holders and carbide insert holders, Trav-a-dial, Micrometer adjustable carriage stop, Thread change gears, Rear traveling splash guard not pictured. Lathe details: 4-way rapid travel, Come-a-long tailstock, 20HP, 220/460 voltage, machine weight approx.11,000 lbs. some relatively minor surface rust on bare surfaces from being idle for the last 3 year's, the chuck guard leaves little to be desired, I would recommend replacing it with an aftermarket plastic one, one of the carriage control levers functions but could use to be repinned, Hardened bed Way's appear to be in great shape, Cross slide and compound movements feel good throughout entire range, no tight spots from worn dovetails, Tailstock and steady rest's, are in great shape, This one owner lathe came out of a Milwaukee, WI, hydraulic cylinder shop, that closed down 3 year's ago. Where they still have old school machinist, that still know the value in taking care of a machine! It is a solid, well kept machine. The details are in the pictures! repainting covers things up, With a little love, it will produce for many more years!!!
Just a note: The original sale price noted on sell sheet, ,595, Happy hunting.
