Vintage Garage Door Wall Mount; Attachment Plate/Axle/Swivel (1940's - 1950's)

Description

One wall mount plate for a heavy wooden single car garage door that pivoted and swung up from a closed vertical position to an open horizontal position.   Used, but in very nice condition with no rust, cracks or other impairments.  Very heavy and well made.  Original equipment from a house that was built in 1948.  Please view photos.     Base plate: 5 3/8" long; 4 3/8" wide.   Cylinder: 1 5/8" diameter; 2 5/16" long from base plate.
This is the real deal; not a cheap foreign copy.  We found these when we clean out Grandma's estate.  It has been in dead storage for many years.
